The Banshee 900R became the fastest car in GTA 5 Online after Rockstar increased it's Top Speed performance a couple of days ago. People weren't sure how or why this was changed but Rockstar recently explained their changes to the Banshee 900R and it's top speed.

"After receiving reports from the community, we have investigated the issue and made slight adjustments to the stock Banshee 900R engine and each engine mod to improve overall performance."

This came after a lot of complaints that the Banshee 900R was slower than the stock Banshee after it's release. This could be a temporary or permanent fix, we'll just have to wait and see!
