The first ever recorded "GTA 6 leak" happened in March 2018 when the "Inside Gaming" YouTube channel revealed they had received an anonymous tip revealing GTA 6 information. The details of this GTA 6 leak included, the GTA 6 location being set between Vice City and South America, the story will involve drug-running, and take place across multiple decades.
Fast forward to July 2019, a second part of the GTA 6 Project Americas leak surfaced on Reddit. Detailing much more in-depth about "Project Americas," this post revealed that GTA 6 will "allegedly" take place in the 1970s and 1980s, take a heavy inspiration from Netflix Narcos, and even us working for a younger Martin Madrazo. This leak was deleted rather quickly however, leading the community to believe this leak to be fake.... UNTIL NOW!
With the recent release of Cayo Perico in GTA Online, everything about this update features many of the key elements from both Project Americas leak. Almost exact. For this to come true in more than three ways in GTA Online, I don't think this is a coincidence. Rockstar Games has a reason for everything they do.
On top of this, in the files of Red Dead Redemption 2, multiple weapon scripts were found for weapons that were not around in the time that Red Dead 2 takes place. But instead, weapons that were heavily used by the Brazilian Army and Medellin Cartel in the 1980s. And as you may or may not know, Rockstar is using their most recent game - which utilizes the most recent version of the RAGE game engine - to test elements for GTA 6. This right here proves that.
GTA 6 leaks are ever-so volatile. But as the wait continues, more and more GTA VI leaks surface as we hopefully inch nearer to the GTA 6 announcement.
