I put this on hold for a few years, but this is how far i was able to get into being able to make custom Rally opponent.

Something timing-wise if off about replays which is messing up the car.
In this video, i've synced up to the START/REPLAY text, which is when the car is released and the race starts.
There is a clear speed difference in the countdown, which could be one reason why the timing gets bad, and then there's a slight desync throughout the rest of the video in the inputs (can see by the brake lights)
