Happy Canadian Thanksgiving, Dragoknights! While I am being a gluttonous Tepig and playing Pokémon X, you people are probably drowning in your Subscription feeds, in a whirlpool of X and Y walkthroughs...but I am here to pull you out with something that's not related to Pokémon X or Y at all! In fact, I won't say another word about Generation Six here. S.S. Aqua and Magnet Train share one bouncily fun song, and it's always been a personal favourite of mine. I've always wondered how the song would sound in orchestra, and was always thrown off by the idea of an endless brass section. I wanted some variation! Is that too much to ask, Game Freak? Anyway, I turned the song upside down, squinted my left eye and cocked my head to the right and decided piano would be my main instrument. I still have brass, but I toned that down a notch and went for a bigger string section. Altogether, I think I've refreshed the song--maybe even given the world a different look at it. With all that said and done, I hope you enjoy the arrangement, Dragoknights.

If you want minute-by-minute X and Y talk, head on over to my Twitter, the link is above. Inevitably people are going to ask (and have already repeatedly done so) when the X and Y musical love will come, and the answer is pretty simple: not in the immediate future. I want to play the games, maybe even replay them, and get to know the music. There is no set date for me to start work, and I refuse to be pressured into making half-assed content. I will take my time, and that has to be good enough for everyone. So please, don't ask. I'd be delighted to talk about the music, but X and Y PokéTunes won't be a thing for a while. End of PSA.
