With both the Northeast & Southwest USA mod packs, we'll be designing an entire unique map on Cities Skylines II, based upon architecture and urban planning from all across the North American continent. As usual in these videos we'll be starting with the basics and slowly building up to a large metropolis, with surrounding towns, industry connected through the many highways. A huge thanks to the modders Badi_Dea, BadPeanut, Bsquiklehausen, Darf, Gèze, Gruny, King Leno, and Smilies on their work on the Southwest pack & BadPeanut, Bsquiklehausen, Darf, Gèze, Gruny, King Leno, Smilies, and Sniggledigit for the Northeast pack.
To add some real challenge and change things up from my other country build videos, I'll be using the 'Normal' starting preset along with disabling infinite money. Still enabled is the enabling off all milestones as to allow us to unlock more tiles and all of the building types at the start, also increasing our initial budget. Created by Frontier Developments, the first Planet Coaster game brought the amusement park construction and management simulator genre forward into a new generation when it came out in 2016. Like any other park builder we have all of the basic game mechanics such as pathing, shops, rides and coasters, with us needing to use all of those to build new or improve pre existing parks. The game innovates by giving us extremely customizable worlds, with its pretty graphics and endless selection of customisable items & mod support giving gamers the most realistic and deep park building experience yet.
In Planet Coaster were given three main modes in the game, being the campaign, sandbox and additional challenges. This campaign series on the channel focuses on a single mission per video, well be inheriting many pre-made parks with the goal of expanding on the original vision and eventually achieving three golden stars. Each star requires a number of sub goals to be unlocked, usually relating to our money, profit, amount of rides or guest satisfaction. Thank you for watching!🎢
