Eight Wellesley students discovered more about the College landscape this summer by working as Botanic Gardens summer interns. In addition to learning about plant diversity and identification, pruning, reading the landscape and other skills, they also learned how to work together and foster community. “My favorite thing, I think, has really been working with the team and working together toward a common goal of making the gardens a really beautiful and educational space that people can really connect to,” said Emily Wall ’24, an environmental studies major.
