On May 12, 2024, at 1:46 AM, Rockledge Police Department responded to Woodspring Suites (720 Barnes Boulevard) regarding an intoxicated Hispanic male in a green shirt and red shorts attempting to fight other guests. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the individual, later identified as the defendant, in the back parking lot. The defendant was heavily intoxicated, drinking a beer, and argumentative with officers. The hotel manager advised that the defendant had caused multiple disturbances while intoxicated. The defendant was advised he was being trespassed from the property and needed to leave but he refused. He was subsequently arrested and transported to the Brevard County Jail.
