UChicago PhD composer Will Myers has always wanted to remove the barrier between composer and musician. In his new work for the Chicago Center for Contemporary Composition's resident Grossman Ensemble, he does just that by inviting the musicians to take total control of the piece by the end.

The Grossman Ensemble, the resident ensemble of the Chicago Center for Contemporary Composition, premieres Myers' "Workaround" Friday, December 6 at 7:30 pm in the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts. Tickets are $15, free with valid student id.
