Live drum cover of the title track of their 1971 album L.A. Woman, the final album to feature Jim Morrison before his death on 3 July 1971.
In the songs bridge, Morrison repeats the phrase Mr. Mojo Risin, which is an anagram of Jim Morrison.[1]
The phrase city of night that Morrison repeats several times throughout the song is the title of a novel by John Rechy, originally published in 1963. Morrison was a fan of the novel and had a track record of incorporating novel titles, fragments and lines from the poetry of others into his lyrics, such as Journey to the End of the Night, Not to Touch the Earth, and Been Down So Long It Looks Like Up To Me.
The song was recorded at The Doors Workshop on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, between December 1970 and January 1971. Morrison recorded his vocal part in the bathroom of the makeshift studio due to the rooms natural reverb. Marc Benno was a second guitarist on the session; Jerry Scheff played electric bass guitar.

The song was written by lead singer Jakob Dylan, and produced by T-Bone Burnett. It was released on November 1996 as the second single from the bands second studio album, Bringing Down the Horse. Dylan has said that the song is about the death of ideas.
The song is notable for being the first single to reach number one on all three of Billboards rock airplay charts: the Modern Rock Tracks chart, the Mainstream Rock Songs chart and the Adult Alternative Songs chart.
One Headlight also peaked at number one in Canada for five weeks. In 2000, the song was listed at number 58 on Rolling Stone and MTVs list of 100 Greatest Pop Songs of All Time.

Live drum cover of Folsom Prison Blues written in 1953 and first recorded in 1955 by The American singer-songwriter Johnny Cash.
The song combines elements from two popular folk styles, the train song, and the prison song, both of which Cash continued to use for the rest of his career.
It was one of Cashs signature songs. It was the eleventh track on his debut album With His Hot and Blue Guitar and it was also included (same version) on All Aboard the Blue Train. A live version, recorded among inmates at Folsom State Prison itself, became a No.1 hit on the country music charts in 1968.
In June 2014, Rolling Stone ranked it No.51 on its list of the 100 greatest country songs of all time.
