"Grimdark Compendium I" is the first installment in a two-part grimdark ambient journey that takes you on a voyage to the far reaches of space where massive churchscaped megacities reign among the ancient stars. The ancient hulk of a once glorious Church-ship 'Ixxion IV' returns from its journey across the stars to the Megacity of Gothium, only to find the abandoned monasteries. The vast cathedralic city solemnly stands among the vastness of the universe, echoing with the forgotten chants of a monastic order.

This album is partially and indirectly inspired by the fascinating Warhammer 40,000 universe and lore. It may as well serve as a soundtrack when reading the literature/playing the game/praying to the Emperor or pondering about the Grimdark future. Aside from that, it does not represent a direct, straightforward building up upon the lore, and is in no way affiliated with GW and related trademarks.

Immerse yourself in the shadow of the Edo Period with this 2-hour long ambient atmosphere of a secluded samurai abode. This Bushido-inspired soundscape captures the essence of ancient Japan while blending traditional instruments with meditative dark ambient.
100% Human-made audio and visuals!
In an era of AI generated ambient slop, at this channel the human touch is priority. Every layer of this soundscape was composed and mixed by hand to ensure an organic and immersive experience, while the image is taken from a public domain stock website (Unsplash/Pexels).
This is a special album, an ambiental adaption of selected Shoguns Castle material. Parts of tracks are used and reworked through various atmospheric filters and sonic lenses to create an immersive ambiental piece.
It started as an experiment, but got a life on its own; and although old tracks are used, the sound turned out to become original and authentic. I considered this a separate work of art, so I thought it deserved a release.
