The Iron Sultanate was a unique challenge to transform into the grimdark aesthetic. You want to have some weathering, but you also want to incorporate bright colours, and the feeling of something... non-European.
Yet in the end, it was one of my favourite projects, which actually got me into looking into the different facets of the culture and history that inspires this faction, which is always enlightening.
The Iron Sultanate, alongside the other 5 factions, is completely covered in the Grimdark Guide to Trench Crusade, a bundle that we put together. In over 10 hours of tutorials, you will learn everything from building and conversion to drawing a narrative and painting techniques as you've likely never thought of before, as we approach the hobby at a different angle than most.
