Welcome to Pickles BBQ.
Today we're doing an unusual Surf and Turf on the Old Smokey Grill. It's reverse seared steak, octopuses(pi), chinese broccoli and my goto for steak, mushrooms and a bit of blue cheese.
I mention a few people out of a list of so many that inspired me in the intro. I will continue to thank people, go watch, subscribe and learn. Here they are in no order:
Rob from BBQ Pit Dog, he reached out and supported my tiny channel. We're doing a collaboration in the next couple of days!
T-Roy Cooks whose videos I've been watching for years and look forward to every new video:

Great Teacher and channel, if you've seen my previous videos, I've borrowed from him a bit, Big Lew BBQ:

Chef Johnny, he's down to earth and has amazing explanations. A truly fantastic teacher as well:

James from Aimem and Claimem Smokers, a competition cook who will up your game in the nicest and most genuine way, plus well...taco tuesdays:

Lyle from down the way in Centennial at No Hippie BBQ and Cooking, he's constantly putting out great videos, I don't think he sleeps:

My Affiliate links(well none, but some links anyhow):
The Old Smokey Grill that I love, it's cheap, it's great, tell them I sent you and they'll say "what? who?pickles seriously?":

Meat supplied by Krogers/King Soopers:
Google them or buy it in your local grocery store, they don't know me either.
Octopi supplied by HMart:
They haven't kicked me out yet for spending too much time looking at all the cool stuff. They don't know me either. Your local Asian market and most grocery stores have octopi or squid.
Final words:
You know something I don't know and hopefully I can teach you something you don't know. Take the leap and become a creator. With a broken iPhone 6 and a mini tripod, another I got cheap from Amazon and a free iPhone app, I did it, YOU CAN TOO!
Disclaimer:
Some of this video wasn't filmed in Landscape mode, that's tragic.
Don't point a laser into your eye, but cats and dogs like to chase them around.
The dogs may or may not have eaten some of my octopus for dinner.
The plural of cabooses is not caboosi as one of the tiny camera men thinks.
Take care, until next time.
