The Griffin Armament A2S-QD™ is a centerfire rifle suppressor designed and optimized for the M4 Carbine. It features a locking mount which quickly and securely attaches to the standard A2 compensator on the M16A2/3/4 and M4/A1 variants with no modification or armorer level modification required. The mount automatically stops on the A2 when installed and then is locked and ratchet/detent tightened by the operator.
The suppressor features ECO-FLOW internal baffles which encourage gas to flow through them with tuned back pressure reduction features. Tested with state of the art B&K Pulse LAN XI sound lab grade equipment, the suppressor achieves ear safe sound pressure levels at 3 microphone locations for the operator on the M4A1 platform (below OSHA 140bd A weighted limit). The baffles are also tuned to reduce muzzle flash to a minimum and provide ample bore clearance for bullet flight passage when attached to A2 compensators utilizing crush washers for mounting.
The suppressor is 6.94” long by 1.5” diameter. It weighs 19.4oz and is manufactured from high temperature resistant alloys for durability and substantial service life.
