An exploration of the Greyfriars ruin at Dunwich, Suffolk, and the sprits that haunt it. An experiment in abstract filmmaking, proposing the thesis that in darkness, we begin to see new forms and shapes that may or may not exist.
Note as of 06/01/21: This project was filmed on 21st October of 2019 and completed in December of the same year. I had originally intended to work on the soundtrack myself and use the Mark Korven The Lighthouse music as a temporary track, however the project was shelved and I never managed to continue working on it. Therefore, I consider this an unfinished project due to the soundtrack being work I do not have permission to use, as well as my dissatisfaction with the motion graphics amongst other technical details. Regardless, I have decided to release this to YouTube in the hope of sharing the mystical qualities of this mysterious structure found on the coast of Suffolk, England.
