Here is a 2015 Peterbilt 320 mounted on a 31 yard McNeilus Zero Radius (ZR) owned and operated by Greenteam of San Jose. I Was planning on seeing a Lodal or RL owned by Recology as the night before filming this I did some research that this area was picked up by Recology and after going on Google Maps and looking n street view I saw that all the carts had tipper marks. I got really excited and couldn't even sleep that night.
So I got up at 3:30 and got all my gear packed. My dad drove me to the bay and we started to look around. There were a couple of carts that were picked up so we started to look down every street. About 5 mins in we still saw nothing 15 mins. passed and still nothing but all of a sudden I see a new truck and I was baffled it wasn't no MSL or RL it wasn't even Recology it was a shiny new CNG ZR picking up NorCal Waste carts. First thing that popped in my mind was the contract went up and Green Team got it. So I got hopped out of the car and started filming. I was a little disappointed but film a Great Team ZR was on my list just not picking up recycling in a different city. I hope to return in the near future and film this and the other ZR you saw around on yard waste, the cool part of yard waste here is that way back when Santa Clara county gave out Toter 96 gallon square carts. A good amount still exist but i'm ¨afraid¨ that Greet Team will roll out as square Toters don't do well with ZR´s.
