The intro guitar riff was originally from an unfinished We Are Adam West demo (my old punk band). I've been trying to finish this song for 16 years, but every time I tried I could feel that I wasn't ready to write the song the way it needed to exist. I've since learned what genuine, selfless, life-changing love is like. I'm finally ready to write a song about love and mean every word. Green-Haired Canadian Girls is finally here after all these years :)
