Listen to the distinctive call of the European Greenfinch (Chloris chloris). The Greenfinch is known for its twittering song, often interspersed with a longer, wheezing note. If you hear a Greenfinch call it will probably be perched on the top of a tree or bush, or as in this video, on a TV aerial!

Recorded in Olbia in Sardinia, Italy, this video captures a range of Greenfinch vocalisations.
