Timelapse greenbottle blue sling molt. The Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens is a species of tarantula native to the dry deserts of Venezuela. Often labeled semi-arboreal by tarantula hobbyists, this species is known to create burrows in nature at the base of bushes, but is known to stay above ground and coat its enclosure with thick white webbing. The sling goes through a beautiful array of changes as it molts and grows, from having a tiger-stripe abdomen to an orange abdomen with blue legs as an adult.
