Green Scream
Climb aboard Adventures Island very own crocodile and take in the highs ( and lows ) of a snappy spin around the edge of the park.
Guest must be a minimum of 100cm to ride. guest under 120cm must be accompanied by a responsible person of the 14 years or over, who rides for free
Our commitment to provide a service
We will endeavour to ensure that as many rides and attractions as possible are available for use by guests at the Attraction. However, we reserve the right, without prior notice, to close and change the programme of rides and attractions and/or the Attraction’s operating hours. Stockvale in its absolute discretion reserves the right to close the whole or any part of the Attraction at any time or to restrict the number of persons having access to the Attraction. The reason for any closure or restriction provided by this condition may include technical or operational reasons, capacity, inclement weather, special events or to ensure the safety and security of guests or if Stockvale reasonably considers the circumstances so require.
As part of this, ride and attraction queues may be closed up to 1 hour before the advertised closing time
Green Scream is a steel roller coaster built by German manufacturer Zierer currently located at Adventure Island in Southend On Sea, Essex, England, UK. It was new to the park in 1998.[1]
On 8 August 2010, the record for "most naked riders on a roller coaster" took place on the Green Scream raising £22,000 for charity. A total of 102 people took part, beating the previous record of 32 on Nemesis at Alton Towers. A second attempt took place on 24 October 2015 with 122 people, but was not recognised by Guinness World Records.[2][3]
