Story Explanation:
It’s a do over for the Homeworld Era 3 Ball as the first one didn't end that well. Still pretty boring as no one really knows how to party. Green Pearl and Green Sapphire are both bored until GS gets an idea and drags GP into it. She’s hesitant but whatever, why not? But G. Sapphire loves messing with people and of course isn't going to dance in a way that isn't completely embarrassing. She doesn't care but GP does, at least as far as others thinking she's stupid are concerned. But G. Sapph manages to convince her that what other people think doesn't matter as long as they're having fun, and she is having fun. And they fuse!

AU Story Explanation:
Gordon Freeman boots up a new VR game thats supposed to have advanced AI in it, but then when the resonance cascade occurs in the game something goes wrong. Instead of being a part of the game its actually some kind of glitch that causes ripples through the game, changing all of the characters. I.E. None of the characters are supposed to have weird out of bounds powers, it’s caused by the cascade glitch. This glitch and possibly some defective VR hardware causes Gordon to forget he’s in a game.
The game progresses mostly normally but everyone disagrees with one another and the game glitches continue to splinter and grow worse, causing more damage to Gordon, especially after his arm is cut off.
It all comes to a head during the finale on Xen when everyones at each others throats and the game fractures completely into five endings. Which one’s real? Do they all happen at once? Nothing makes sense and now they are at Chuck E. Cheese and Gordon realizes he didnt just forget HE was real.
