We have a new frog species! The beautiful Green mantella frog is only 25mm long, about the size of a 10 pence piece. Endemic to Madagascar, it is listed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List due to loss of habitat. Weird froggy fact - green mantella require water, as most frogs do, but do not get it by drinking. Instead, their permeable skin allows them to absorb it!
