Every year, on the night before Orthodox Easter Sunday, the Greek island of Chios becomes the scene of a spectacular pyrotechnic duel. During the "Rouketopolemos", two parishes battle it out with thousands of homemade rockets. The centuries-old rocket war is illegal, but the tradition is a tourist attraction and a source of income for the island.
