Happy two years ACA AU!!!
Before we get into the content of this video let me just say wow, I cant believe its been this long! I remember when Widowpawz and Blizzypawz first messaged me and told me about this OC-based MCCU AU. It was right at the beginning, and they needed someone to create a character to fill the spot of Thors apprentice. I was honored that they would ask and happy to join, but I never would have expected what it would become. Back then, we had six characters. Now, there are over 40! We have changed the story. We have rewritten movies. We have moved infinity stones, and the best thing is the people that we have done it with. Im not super active in the Discord for this AU, but when I do pop in to chat I am always floored by the sheer positivity and camaraderie. Ive had the privilege to watch this community grow from the beginning, and it has been amazing to see the friendships that have formed, the stories that have been built, and the people who have made this AU the best that it can be. To everyone who has ever participated in this AU: thank you.
Now, to the sad part of this video. Out of the three active characters I have in this AU, Jokoteso is my oldest. He is the one that I created to be Thors apprentice back when the AU was first being formed. He is a character who has seen hundreds of hardships. He helped form the Avengers. He was in possession of the Aether for a time. He fought Thanos head on, and he disappeared in the Blip. He lost two of his closest friends and abandoned the third all in an attempt to escape his grief. Throughout it all he survived, which was more than the people of his home planet thought he ever deserved. He was a genetic anomaly, one that shouldnt have lived past his hatching, and yet the end of Endgame saw him on a spaceship, traveling the universe with his mentor and the Guardians of the Galaxy.
He should have known it was too good to last.
Everything that Jokoteso went through in his years of being an Avenger put a strain on his body. His wings were a trait that already strained his genetic code, so when that was combined with living on a planet he wasnt designed for, being snapped out of existence, and wielding an infinity stone it was not surprising that there were lasting side effects. He was beginning to feel weak even before the events of Infinity War, and after he assumed that it was just the strain of battle. Only months later, when he was traveling with the Guardians of the Galaxy, did he use their tech to give himself a medical examination. When the results told him he had mere weeks left to live, he didnt know what to do.
So, he did what he could until then. He fought beside Thor when Gorr began to run rampant across the galaxy. He defended himself when he was attacked by Akioria and was able to show her that he was nothing like the rest of his species. He fought until the very end and, when it was done, he found that it was just that: The End.
One of the few things that Jokoteso kept from the Shiar was a saying: Its never goodbye until the stars no longer shine.
When he finally felt the presence of his best friends again, he realized just how true it was.
This probably wont be the last thing I ever make with Jokoteso (he appears in like eight movies throughout our version of the MCU, theres a lot of content with him that I havent tapped into lol) but it is the end of his story. Its bittersweet to watch a character like this die after Ive spent so long developing him. I genuinely love Jokoteso so much, and Im so happy to have been able to create this character. I love this AU so much, and Im so happy its still going strong after two years.

*This part contains very vague spoilers for Spider-Man: No Way Home! Its like so vague that I dont even think I need to put it, but... just in case!*
Oh man I am SO proud of how this part turned out!! I kind of took a break from animating for a bit during January because I was pretty busy IRL, and so when I took this part I had a ton of energy to pour into it! I really love the frame-by-frame at the end and the pacing of the part, it was a ton of fun to work on!
Also I havent said much about No Way Home on my channel but HOLY COW THAT MOVIE IS SO AMAZING I SAW IT THREE TIMES WITHIN THE FIRST TWO WEEKS I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT ITS ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES IN THE MCU JUST HOLY COW WE DID NOT DESERVE THAT MOVIE IT IS A BLESSING A PURE BLESSING

Peter opens the door to his nearly empty apartment, takes off his hat and scarf, and walks over to the window across the room, as he walks over to the window we can see. He lays his arms on the window seal and then proceeds to lay his head on his arms as he looks outside at the snow.

This is a simple MAP part that I finished AGES ago, but I wanted to hold off on uploading it so I could use it as some hype for a certain project that is now upon us! Does this character look cool? Well she appears in my novella Fallen Fire, which debuts on Sunday!!
Their part is simple and somewhat vague, but I feel like the lyrics of “I’m numb inside” fit Okami very well. She’s seen a lot of things by the time Fallen Fire occurs, and she is in a state of numbness, driven purely by survival without a clear goal of WHY she’s surviving.

This is a pretty simple MAP part, but one Im honestly pretty proud of! I love the whole theme and style of the MAP, and I cant wait to see how it turns out! Also, Agents of SHIELD is just a yes in my book, especially for a perspective of Coulson and Daisys relationship!!
