Daniel N | Great Shinobi Owl Boss Fight (No Damage/Active Skills/Tools/Items) - Demon Bell - Sekiro (PC) @danieln6613 | Uploaded 5 years ago | Updated 21 hours ago
That's a really nicely designed boss fight. Owl is pretty slow with his sword attacks and doesn't really have any unblockable ones, but he more than makes up for it by being a sneaky bastard, implementing shinobi techniques and having access to tools like firecrackers, shurikens and poison, so it kinda feels like you're fighting another version of your own character.
Best strategy for Owl is to pressure him by staying close, but not being too aggressive, ending your own attack strings before he tries to deflect them, deflecting his follow-up attack and immediatelly start attacking again (best to hit him twice and deflect, rince and repeat). In his second phase he'll start using poison instead of shurikens while jumping backwards in the air, it's best to run up to him and either deflect or attack depending what he'll do (he might throw 2 shurikens and a jumping slam attack or start regenerating posture).
