I just released a new example combining two tools I find genuinely fascinating for sound design and generative composition in Ableton Live.
The first is an FM synthesizer: you can choose the waveform for both carrier and modulator, dial in their ratio with a potentiometer, shape the harmonics and brightness, and sculpt the sound with a full envelope. It's free and honestly one of those tools I keep coming back to.

The second is Newton Generator: a physics-based generative MIDI device where falling apples trigger notes within a chosen scale and key.

An interesting tool for creating your own visuals from Ableton.
You have two sections available, the left column to insert up to 8 sound samples, and the right one to insert 18 JPG images.
Change the speed to change the videos animation and choose how many samples you want to play randomly.

Aamonoise is a Max for Live device for noise generation.
You can change the noise type from the menus, adjust the left-to-right gain ratio, and most importantly, use a state-variable filter.
The state-variable filter algorithm is described in Hal Chamberlins book, Musical Applications of Microprocessors.
A unique feature of this filter object is that it produces
low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, and notch output simultaneously: all four are available as outlets.

Neural Soundscape is an experimental MaxForLive plugin
that combines slow sinusoidal LFOs with neuron-inspired activation to create dynamic soundscapes.
This unique system uses random timing and sample manipulation to generate evolving audio textures.
At the core of Neural Soundscape is a low-frequency sine wave oscillator, or Neural Oscillation,
which drives the triggering of six independent samplers.
These samplers play sounds when neurons activate, responding to specific points in the LFOs waveform.
Examples of Use
Ambient Soundscapes:
Use slow Neural Oscillation rates and moderate Random Timing to create evolving, meditative sound environments.
Rhythmic Textures:
Increase the Neural Oscillation rate for faster, more rhythmic patterns,
and adjust the Sampler Gain for complex, layered beats.
Installation and Setup
Drag and drop Neural Soundscape into your Ableton Live session.
Load samples into each of the six samplers by clicking on buttons.
