Graugans stretching its legs in the 1 mile out, and back cabin race at the 2016 CO FPV Meet near Hartsel CO. The prop pitches out at about 95mph, so I start the run with a dive, and the motor off. Glide until the speed drops to about 100mph and then throttle up. There was a stiff headwind going out, so I flew low to minimize its effect, and came home low, because I just like to fly low.. ;) Probably would have been faster to come home higher.
Time out and back (flight line to flight line) was 71 seconds, for an average speed of just over 100mph.
