The Grandmothers Against Genocide have been holding a weekly vigil at the busy intersection of Bay & Bloor in Toronto every Wednesday morning for over a year. When leaders turned a blind eye to the mass starvation, when international institutions failed to step up, it falls to ordinary people - to the grandmothers to bear witness and shame the powerful.
