I go to my Grandma's every day to walk the dog, have a little visit, take home food she pushes onto me etc. But today she was forgetting words and seemed to be acting a little off. I asked her if she knew who I was, she didn't know. I walked her to the sofa, gave her some water and called my aunt.
I sat with her and tried to jog her memory. Asked her if she knew who my mother was (her first born), but she still couldn't remember anyone, or that my ma had died for that matter.
My aunt came and took her readings and we got her to relax and drink more and I gave her some fruit, and slowly she started recalling things. This same thing happened on Christmas night, too...but she's always been tough and bounced back.
She just celebrated her 89th birthday, so these things are natural...it just makes me a bit sad.
After she was back to normal, I went upstairs to fix her TV in the bedroom. I saw her wigs and tought I'd lighten things up a bit...she really seemed to like how it looked 🤣.
