Grand Theft Auto VI just left me SPEECHLESS.
Rockstar Games has officially given us an extended look at Grand Theft Auto VI, and in this video I’m watching the massive presentation and giving you my live reaction, first thoughts, and immediate impressions of what Rockstar is building.
There were several moments throughout this showcase where I genuinely didn’t know what to say.
Jason and Lucia. Vice City. The wider state of Leonida. The gunplay. Police chases. Character switching. The insane animation work. Driving. Diving. Basketball. Boats. Parachuting. The amount of environmental detail. The quieter moments between Jason and Lucia. The scale of everything.
This genuinely looks like Rockstar taking everything it learned from Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 and trying to push it into another generation.
The entire Extended Look was captured from in-game footage on PlayStation 5, according to Rockstar Games.
