This is a (supposedly) 10 lap race on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with the very exciting Thundercars. Oval racing is possible in Grand Prix Legends, but you'll notice that the AI cars don't behave properly. This can probably better be done against other humans in online racing. It's still a blast though!
