If there were means of bringing a cape into The Nexus, this would be possible. Unfortunately, as far as I am aware, there is no way to take the cape out of The Linkdead Pool.

This is probably the most difficult level featured in Romhack Races to date. It was very well-received by the racers. I had the awesome privilege of doing both playtesting and commentary for this race (streamed on the SuperMarioWorld Twitch channel). Aguni_ really did a nice job making this level aesthetically pleasing as well as fun and challenging to play. Would definitely recommend this level after having a few intro levels under your belt.
