The Federal Way Link Extension officially opened for service on Saturday, December 6, 2025, adding three new Link light rail stations at Kent Des Moines, Star Lake, and Federal Way Downtown, extending the 1 Line south from the Angle Lake Station for quick travel throughout South King County and the region.
