This weeks VLOG is all about riding as a pair ……
Farmer Chris is recovering from prostate surgery and has found riding a challenge to say the least. Yes fellas, sitting on a bike after prostate surgery is somewhat UNCOMFORTABLE. As a result the rides need to be “steady eddie” because every bump in the road comes with discomfort. So, it was a steady ride out for lunch to the rural city of Murray Bridge which is 20 minutes down the road from home. Not quite the grand adventure but better than no bike ride at all. While I’ve been clocking up the “k’s” the 50th Anniversary Special Edition has been tucked up under cover. So it was nice to have both bikes out on the road at the same time.
What I learned this week. Both Quadlock short cables could have a defect as neither of them work for more than 20 minutes and then switch off and on. Both USB chargers however work fine using an apple supplied original cable. For the GoPro’s the problem of interrupted recording seems to be looking like some kind of bluetooth interference issue. Both of them had connectivity (wifi / bluetooth) off and both of them recorded as they should. This is a first step and one test so we’ll see on future rides if this is looking to be a solution to the recording issues.
