I just got back from an 11 day study abroad trip through Indiana University in Grand Cayman. The course is BIOL-L433, Tropical Biology, and it was 3 credits. Every day we went on hikes and dives and learned about tropical plants, marine life, shipwrecks, and the history of the Cayman Islands. The dive operation we went with is Ocean Frontiers and they are amazing.
The music is my original composition, "Motion of the Ocean". Here's a link to me playing the exact recording used in this video:

The scenes in this video:
1. Exiting the lagoon. If you've seen the movie Castaway, this was a lot like that. There are huge waves as you try to get out of the fringing reef. Then there's a short clip of my classmates and crew on the boat.
2. Diving at Ironshore Gardens. My friend Asha and I rented an Olympus Pen camera and got a lot fo cool photos and videos at this beautiful dive site off the south-east end of Grand Cayman.
3. Snorkeling at night in the lagoon. Swimming with my camera in one hand and my flashlight in the other. It was a little creepy at times haha! The wreckage on the bottom is probably from when Hurrican Ivan destroyed the dock 6 years ago. Good place for fish to live. We find a banded coral shrimp in one of those columns. And at the very end we found a gorgeous French Angelfish.
All videos (except Ironshore Gardens) were taken with my Canon PowerShot SD780 IS. I used a Nereus camera housing to take photos and videos underwater.
