Nearly a week ago my step-father Dean and I took a two-day trek to the bottom of the Canyon and back out. We descended South Kaibab Trail (7.5 miles), ascended Bright Angel (9.3 miles), and had a life-alteringly good time full of beauty and exhaustion and awe-insipiring landscapes. Here's a little taste of the trip.
