No Hollowsky Staff nor Ultima Staff.
To take advantage of Cag's skills and passives , you'll need:
1. Good critical rates (Only from Gacha weapons or Altair Ougi)
2. Deluge Crest generators (Opus Staff with CA, Lily)
3. DATA sources
4. Grid to nearly cap autos.
5. Echo sources (Warlock's chaser, Cag's passive)
6. Hollowsky Staff (I don't have yet) vs Demonic Longstaff Devilry?
Well...no clear cut answers like Kengo with Unsigned & Drang's Weapons
As shown in this video, with ST, Bonito, Opus Staff MH and Lily, you can use Cag's S1 echos at the start of turn 3. Obviously not practical.
Probably Pholia can be replaced with Summer Sandalphon or Europa IF you have sufficient critical rate and DATA in grid.
I wonder if Feower 5* can replace Pholia to get DATA and +1 buff duration..

If you have trouble fighting this boss in normal mode...
1.Grind/Ambush at Shadow Palace and Forest for Armor & Weapons (Esp Axe at Forest)
2. This boss is very unforgiving towards those who did not ambush much for proper gear (Difficulty Spike).
3. This Boss has very high Avoid, AOE fireball & AOE roar/breath.
4. Everyones health must be at least 200. Ignore my backup Knight, my primary Knight is still recovering.
5. Have your Cleric spam Multi-Avoid & Multi-Cure
6. Maintain Holy Light 1, use Dragon Fist once, Sword Bond 1 when needed.
My Party Composition is Ninja, Knight, Ninja, Cleric, Wizard, Ranger.
Everyone has 15+ Vit
Gear makes all the difference, Levels for HP.
