I recently was able to get my hands on the oldest build of Gran Turismo 1 that has ever been discovered, to date. Older than the Test Drive Demo Disc even!
So, how did I acquire it? Well, there's a guy I know who regularly sells pre-release games on eBay. He knows I'm interested in specific game series like GT, so whenever one of his friends / contacts wants to sell something, he lets me know it's available before it goes on eBay, to see if I'd be interested.
This was a weird disc - all it said was 'GT Demo' on it. It also seemed to be an official PAL (European) disc too... I thought it was going to be a demo of the North American version of the game before it arrived, but it actually turned out to be a Japanese build, and the earliest ever found!
