Before the internet was readily available on everybody's mobile phones, Graham embarked on a journey that meant he travelled to every country in the world without using a plane as a form of transport. This earned him the record title for the fastest time to visit all countries by public surface transport in four years and 31 days.
The first year of his adventure also set a record for the most countries visited in one year by scheduled surface transport with 133. Graham recalls some of his best encounters from his travels.
Graham also attempts to set his third world record with a challenge sprung upon him by the GWR team for naming the most European capital cities identified by landmark in one minute.
