How do students at the Graduate College of Social Work become future leaders of social work? It doesn’t necessarily start in the classroom. In fact, it often starts when students get to know each other and build community together. And when a community is created, trailblazers step up to the challenge to remove roadblocks and empower their classmates.
The GCSW cohort communicators and ambassadors are among those trailblazers. Cohort communicators are the connectors between students, faculty, and staff. Ambassadors proudly represent the college as peer mentors, orientation guides, and recruitment assistants. Above all, they are the heart and soul of our programs.
