I posted this on Twitter ages ago, but I never really posted it anywhere else. Time to fix that and bring this to you in a much better quality.
You might be wondering what this is about if you're not familiar with the original games, there was a Gradius III on the SNES, wasn't there?
Well, yes, there was, but it was different to its arcade counterpart. The stage where this song would play in the arcade version was moved to the very last level in the SNES version, and uses a completely different song to boot.
This arrangement is more of a "what if", more than anything. It sticks with only the original Gradius III samples used in the game, and also with the 6 channel and lack of the echo/reverb most SNES games used (which in turn allowed for more sound samples to be stored).
I made this with C700, however because of that I couldn't quite get 100% in the style ballpark. It's close enough so that I don't care, but yeah..

![Lock & Load - Mega Man Y+1: Operation X.M.A.S. [2A03]
Aint your typical stage select theme (although its not far off either) - its longer as it has to accomodate both a stage select *and* a weapon select, as you can only bring two out of six!
