Filmed in Brooklyn Vitaphone Studios. Released September 7, 1929. Cast includes Grace Johnston, The Original Indiana Five, Samuel Castino, Harry Ford, Michael Friselle, Tom Morton, Nick Vitale. Directed by Murray Roth. Bashful Baby, Glad Rag Doll, Clarinet Marmalade. Just before breaking up, the legendary Original Indiana Five made a Vitaphone short with pop singer Grace Johnston. The film existed for years, but the elusive accompanying soundtrack disk was one of the most sought after for 70+ years. It was finally located and UCLA restored it with funding from The Vitaphone Project. When Ron Hutchinson screened it at Film Forum (N.Y.) a few years ago, relatives of some of the band members were in the audience.
