Thanks for watching my Magicka Nightblade PvE DPS Full Guide for The Elder Scroll's Online Waking Flame DLC. This guide is suitable for any content in the game, including solo, dungeons, and trials. This is also my first attempt at making a full guide, so feel free to leave your thoughts on anything that can be improved.
Diamond's Victory is a bit clunky to use on Magblades in the new patch, plus the difference between Bahsei + Sirroria vs Bahsei + DV last patch wasn't noticeable, Siroria + Bahsei now gives the highest potential DPS
Major changes / New features for Waking Flames Chapter: Medium Armor passives now also give spell damage, which is a slight DPS increase Slotting Fighter's Guild abilities also give spell damage, so you can slot barbed trap front bar if you need to
Sets worth mentioning but not shown in the video Domihaus: Good in Sunspire Grothdarr: Easiest set to obtain for beginners Full set of Slimecraw: without healers providing minor berserk e.g. vAS Iceheart: Solo / more survivability Medusa: A nice set for one more skill slot, not needed to cast barbed trap / acceleration in raids is a nice to have

One bar setups are never the best for max DPS but it serves as an easy route for people who cannot manage two skill bars. The less optimized your group is, the more Oakensoul ring is effective. Therefore, the potential of Oakensoul setups cannot be well estimated on a dummy, nor directly comparable to usual parses. Without Oakensoul Ring, do not use one-bar setups.
However, one-bar setup also has downsides. The skill bar is very fixed without many flex spots since the bar is already set up with essential skills of that class. If you need more skills like a damage shield or a heal, you end up losing quite a lot of damage. Luckily the setup with swallow soul provides adequate self-heal while doing decent damage.

------------------------------------------------------ Continuing with the hybridization era where all skills scale dynamically with your highest offensive stats (Stamina/Magicka, Spell/Weapon damage, Crit, etc.), Magicka nightblade with some Stamina abilities, medium armor, or even melee weapons are still the best in terms of DPS. However, all traditional setups with light armor and inferno staves are definitely still decent and viable.
If you are comparing dummy parses, note that the numbers have been inflated by a significant amount due to Full Alksoh, Minor Courage, and Major Slayer and most importantly, Elemental Catalyst (15% crit damage) added to the dummy. It just gives the illusion that DPS has raised but it isn't true. In fact, DPS has dropped especially for mid-tier players or beginners. Since cmx isnt updated yet, the 15% from EC needs to be added by yourself, so my crit damage is sitting at 110-115% in the video.
There are quite a lot of changes in this patch. Generally for all classes, DOT damage has been reduced by a significant amount. “Sticky” DOTs such as Deadly Cloak, Debilitate, have their duration increased (usually doubled), while ground AOE DOTs remain the same or slightly changed.
For Magicka Nightblades specific, Concealed Weapon now increases your damage done by 10% for 5 seconds after leaving Stealth or Invisibility, or when Major Expedition ends, which synergizes well with Twisting Path. “If your path is fraught with darkness, all shall be illuminated” (ZOS, 2022). Not only does this provide Magicka Nightblades a decent melee spammable, but also benefits ranged builds by just slotting it on our bars.
As for sets, Mantle of Siroria is buffed by a bit, maxing at 630 spell damage instead of 520, while the duration and cooldown of this set’s Area of Effect has changed to 8 seconds to make it easier to manage in mobile fights. Now it’s on par with other light armor sets such as Bahsei’s Mania or Whorl of the Depths. vMA 2H has received a significant nerf, and vMA inferno’s effect now directly buffs wall’s damage instead of our light attack damage, which is a good change to make it easier for players to use. The damage bonus is slightly reduced, making it slightly weaker for single target but stronger for AOE. However, the exploding damage from unstable wall has been reduced, so people who spam wall for trash pulls might find it weaker compared to previous patches.
#mmorpg #eso #elderscrollsonline #nightblade #buildSo ... after 80 hours of parsing | Stamina Nightblade | ESO - Lost Depths PTS week 1GC -Saligia9072022-07-14 | **Updated: 116k Parse with full DOT: imgur.com/a/LuRJUrH
Not going to repeat everything in the patch notes. But in short, 2 major changes.
1. Lowering LA damage to reduce the gap caused by "weaving"
They aren't achieving their goal with what's being seen in this PTS. It’s not light attack “damage” making the difference between good and bad players, but the skill cast per second and everything tied with light attacks. Usually, when one weaves well, let's say 0.95 LA/s, their skill per second is also 0.95. Vice versa. So people who weaved like 0.7LA+skill/s is still going to be 0.7. The change simply does not compensate or help with the gap created by "weaving".
Light attack also contributes to a lot of other stuff. - Proccing and Keeping up set effects e.g. relequen, kinras, AY etc. - Ultimate regen - Proccing enchants - Preventing your character animation from glitching compared to just spamming a skill not to mention job skills like NB bow proc, sorc Bound Armaments, etc.
The way how people weave is exactly the same before the change. We still aim for 1LA+skill/s for optimized DPS. The gap between veteran and beginner players is identical, or even larger.
And to be honest why do we have to be punished by being good or spending time on practicing?
2. Extending DOT durations and ticking every 2s + adjustments to spammables
Instead of reducing the gap between good and bad players, this change accidentally reduces the gap between 2 DOTs and 6+ DOTs. But this is fine since the damage is less of an issue. There are still weeks adjusting it. The can easily change this by turning the DPS of DOTs.
The main issue is that this change has made rotations become sooooo boring. Nightblades have been one of the complicated classes in terms of rotation over the years, and now it feels like a 1 bar braindead magsorc. I dont have to pre plan about incap burst anymore because DOTs are so long. This used to be one of the engaging part as a nightblade. But at least this change match with their goal on letting beginners focus less on DOT management, just people like me might not be happy with it.
If I really have to say one good thing about this change, it would be resource management on a hybrid build. Now even fully invested in stam, I can sustain 4 magicka DOTs without any light armor pieces.
As for the dummy parse, if you're comparing it to current patch, note that there are several buffs such as Major Slayer, Minor Courage, updated Engulfing, Updated Alkosh etc. added to the dummy. The difference is even larger if you consider that. However, don't get too deep into DPS numbers since it's just week 1 and they're changing a lot of skills at once. Damage numbers can and might change in the upcoming weeks.
But to be honest I wont be happy even I get 150k DPS with such changes.
Neither do these changes do anything to the power creep issue they refer to. It's okay to tune down DPS, but the contents have to be adjusted too. Top players can and will adjust no matter how the patch changes, but the gap between mid level and high end groups has been increasing over the years. With a very limited number of people clearing vDSR HM, which was designed BASED ON the power creep, these changes on the PTS simply make things less accessible to players.
Not to mention that things like 85% berserker enchants because of 2s / tick, not 100% crit SA, some vMA weapons not lasting for the full DOT duration and all those unknown bugs.vMA Magicka Nightblade - 29:43 time | 600504 score (High Isle)GC -Saligia9072022-06-06 | My first 600k in vMA

However, all traditional setups with light armor and inferno staves are definitely still decent and viable. Unfortunately, there aren't any changes to nightblades in this patch that lots of players are hoping for. To be fair nightblades are fine, just not performing significantly better than the others, so don't judge nightblade's strength just by dummy parses.
Engulfing flames from DK and Champion Points slottables received a slight nerf. With all these small nerfs, overall it’s around 5% DPS loss compared to previous patches.
We are getting two new trial sets for this patch, namely Whorl of the Depths (Light Armor) and Coral Riptide (Medium Armor) from the latest trial Dreadsail Reef.
Simply looking at parses, Whorl is slightly better than Bahsei. But monkeys only look at numbers. We cannot simply conclude that Whorl is better than bahsei in every situation just by looking at numbers on dummy parses. Whorl is a proc set, when you need to switch targets in quick succession, whorl might not be a good option. It also needs some time before the whirlpool to appear, which might not be good when you want to burst things down. The whirlpool position is also fixed, when your target moves away from it, you waste the whole proc. Like all other proc sets, the damage is the same regardless of your other DPS sources. When you do 50k vs 200k, the proc damage from whorl is still the same. However, Bahsei is stronger the higher your DPS is. The advantages of bahsei is that it does not require many brain cells to utilize it well, plus bahsei does not buff pets so classes like sorcerers, wardens, and necros will favor this more than bahsei. Not to mention wardens and necros have passives boosting the proc damage.
As for Coral Riptide, it’s a slightly better-designed, stam version of Bahsei, where you get max value at 33% stam, instead of 0%. Just like Bahsei, if you’re able to manage your resources well, it can outperform other sets.

TLDR: Whorl is good but Bahsei is not dead. However, Bahsei feels very unrewarding given the amount of brain cells spent to manage resources.
Whorl of the Depths is a new Light Armor trial set in the upcoming High Isle DLC.
(5 items) When you deal damage with a Light Attack, you apply Whorl of the Depths to the target, dealing Frost Damage over 8 seconds. When this effect ends, a 5-meter whirlpool is created under the target for 6 seconds and deals AOE Frost Damage every 1 second. This effect can occur once every 18 seconds.
Most of its damage comes from the AOE whirlpool and the single target portion is kinda weak at this moment, but the overall damage is decent enough to compete with other BIS sets in the current patch.
Looking at Light Armor trial sets, the strongest option right now is Bahsei's Mania, which increases your damage done to non-player enemies by up to 12% based on missing Magicka. To utilize this set well you have to maintain your Magicka pool at low level, which might consume some brain cells or requires certain level of experience to a fight / your group to manage it well.
Simply looking at parses, Whorl is slightly better than Bahsei. But monkeys only look at numbers. We cannot simply conclude that Whorl is better than bahsei in every situation just by looking at numbers on dummy parses.

This patch has brought up a lot of viable setups. All skills now scale dynamically with your highest offensive stats (Stamina/Magicka, Spell/Weapon damage, Crit, etc.), which makes some stamina skills deal good damage even on a Magicka build. Unfortunately, there aren't any stamina class skills that are good for Magicka Nightblades, unlike other classes with at least 1 or 2.
Traditional magblade setups mainly use light armor, Inferno+Inferno, or Dual Wield+Inferno setups, but now options such as medium armor and 2Hand back bar are also viable. All traditional setups are definitely still decent and viable. Don’t spread rumors that traditional Magicka / Stamina builds are dead. It’s now Stamina / Magicka / Hybrid (Magicka based) / Hybrid (Stamina based), with pros and cons for each of the setups.
New hybrid setups might pull higher DPS on a dummy but traditional setups still perform the same depending on the type of content. Although I used the word “hybrid” here, it’s not 50% mag 50% stam. It’s still leaning towards one side of resources but we utilize the opposite resource more than pure Magicka / Stamina setups.
In terms of set changes, Bahsei’s Mania receives a slight nerf (15% damage boost max to 12% max), but it’s still the best light armor trial set

The Magicka Nightblade is still a decent class despite its lowest DumMY PArSe among Magicka DPS. But I guess DumMY PArSe is the true end game so people judge the strength of a class only by looking at DumMY PArSes. To be honest, having higher parse DPS doesn't mean a class is better / you are better / you have a bigger d_ck, it just implies that you spent more time in front of a dummy praying for RNG god instead of being a Warrior of Light saving Eorzea. But true man never crit farm, do we?
DAgGeR is cHeeSIng: Daggers are used here to get higher numbers so that people will forget I'm actually a noob carried by daggers. Using inferno has unnoticeable DPS loss in raids, not to mention the cleave from Force Pulse is good in many cases.
Alright, I guess that's enough sarcasm, Magicka Nightblade is still good and nothing much has changed in terms of the playstyle. Its execute power, sustain, Incap burst, etc. are still great. Now we have the 125% crit damage cap, which slightly affects our blue CP choices. Stamina Sorcerer is one of the easiest stamina classes to play due to its easy rotation and high mobility. They can also provide a 1k penetration debuff via crystal weapon whenever it's needed. If you don't like pets, feel free to replace one of them (any of them would be fine) with Stampede and any skills you want. The Blackwood chapter has increased the damage from Stampede, making it a really strong AOE+DOT. Here we are using the new mythic item, Harpooner's Wading Kilt. This item set gives you stacks of critical chance and critical damage, but you lose stacks by taking direct damage. It might not be used in every scenario, but it is a decent option if you can keep up the stacks. For the non-mythic setup, just use the traditional Monster set + 2x 5-piece set. The master's DW setup from the last patch is still viable as a non-mythic setup. As always, bow back bar is still a good option. Sets: All sets are in perfect version, but non-perfect version is absolutely fine without much difference, especially the Blackrose DW, which only gives you sustain when you are on your back bar, being useless most of the time.
There are a lot of viable back-bar weapon choices for stam giving similar results. Only use DW back bar when you have BRP DW. Otherwise, vMA bow / vDSA bow / vMA 2H are all viable options.
For fights where you cannot maintain Relequen stacks consider the following sets: Briarheart New Moon Acolyte (be aware of sustain issues) Hunding's Rage Yandir's Might + Leviathan (one of the Trash Setup options, might not be the best one) Vicious Ophidian (Good for solo and vma) (Perfected) Titanic Cleave / Master's 2H (Good for trash pulls) Diamond's Victory
Alternative Skills : Feel free to remove 1 pet (both deal similar damage so any one would be fine) for any of the following skills if you need them: Stampede Resolving Vigor Critical surge
Beginner's Setup: (CP160) Hunding's Rage (DW + Bow + 3 body) + Spriggan's Thorns (3 jewelry + 2 body) + Any monster helm (highly recommend Stormfist if you are struggling with sustain) Use this setup and change until you get better trial sets or arena weapons.

The rotation is dynamic, which means reapplying DOTs according to their priority and use spammables (Wrecking/Crystal) if all of them are up. Start off with (Atronach + Matriarch) Barbed Trap, Hurricane, Deadly Cloak, then spammables until DOTs fall. Deadly Cloak is the most important DOT, then hurricane and barbed trap.
4 stacks of bound armament have a higher priority over any skills. You can choose to cast the stacks of bound armaments right after the 4th Light attack or the 5th one, the difference isn't big in terms of DPS.
For 2H rotation At around 30%: Stop using Wrecking Blow and use Executioner instead At around 20%: Stop using Bound ArmamentsMagicka Necromancer | 102k+ DPS PVE Build & Rotation | ESO - BlackwoodGC -Saligia9072021-06-05 | Magicka Necromancer Iron Atronach Parse (Blackwood) BGM: Fairy Tail
Magicka Necromancer has been the most popular class in trials due to their colossus ultimate providing major vulnerability debuff to the group. The rotation is very similar to wardens, with good AOE potential. Although Death Knell passive now gives 4% per skill instead of 10% per skill against targets under 25% health, it's still very competing in terms of DPS.
My player skill isn't enough to reach higher DPS but the potential is definitely higher with the same build (106k+) and I'm tired with this class after more than 10 hours practicing just for this patch. Daggers are slightly better on dummy parses (1~2%).
In real fights considering the lack of physical penetration, support sets from healers/tanks like Encratis Behemoth, the difference is very small. Therefore, inferno is generally used in most content, while having the advantage of light attacking at range.
In real fights where you cannot keep up Siroria stacks, consider the following sets
Alternative gear choices: Perfected False God's Devotion (more sustain) Burning Spellweave Medusa (Heavy armor set, make sure to use weapon + jewelry) Diamond's Victory
Viable monster sets for non-mythic setup include: Zaan (Best single target set at melee range) Maw of the Infernal (Ranged) Grothdarr (Easiest set to obtain for beginners) Slimecraw (Solo / without good healer support) Iceheart (Solo / more survivability) 1pc + 1pc Spell crit monster set for more AOE potential, one of them must be slimecraw because it's the only exception of 1pc crit with higher value

High elf, Khajiit, Dark Elf are within 1% difference Breton would be great for sustain, but around 3% lower than the other three
Rotation (With Spammable): It's a dynamic rotation. The principle is to keep up DOTs / Buffs and reapplying them on time. If every DOT / Buff are up, use your spammable (Skull / Force Pulse)
Necro has an easier rotation similar to wardens since we cast Stalking Blastbones every 3rd cast, so the stem of the rotation is Blastbones -- Skill -- Skill -- Blastbones -- Skill -- Skill -- Blastbones …. If you are far away from the target, you might need to fit 3 skills in between Blastbones instead of 2
Those skills between Blastbones casts will be any DOTs / Buffs just ended, if all of them are still up, spam Skull or any spammables
For the priority of DOTs / Buffs Unstable Wall of Elements, Avid Boneyard, and Mystic Orb are the most important, then Siphon and Barbed Trap, Degeneration and Scalding Rune has the lowest priority
Cast ultimate whenever ready to replace a spammable cast
Rotation (DOT rotation): The stem is still the same with Blastbones every 3rd cast, but there isn't any spammable, when all the DOTs are up, reapplying scalding rune a bit earlier to take the explode damage would be a good choice. If you just cast Scalding Rune, Unstable Wall or Detonating Siphon would be your second choice. You should have a DOT ready to be cast every second most of the time so there shouldn't be cases that you have all DOTs up for more than 3 seconds and don't know what to cast.Stamina Nightblade | 110k+ DPS PVE Build & Rotation | ESO - BlackwoodGC -Saligia9072021-05-30 | Stamina Nightblade Iron Atronach Build & Parse (Blackwood) BGM: Bad Apple (Nhato Remix)
Stamina Nightblade is one of the stamina classes I enjoy most. Incapacitating Strike and Relentless Focus provide huge burst damage. It also performs well in the execute phase with Killer's Blade. The Blackwood chapter has increased the damage from Stampede, making it a really strong AOE+DOT dealing more than 9k DPS on its own, therefore 2H front bar is a viable option for Stamblade. Start off with Barbed trap - Shade - Deadly Cloak - Rending Slashes - Stampede/Consuming Trap - (Twisting Path)- Incap - Bow proc Surprise Attack x5 - Bow proc Then reapply DOTs according to their priority, spam Surprise Attack when everything is up. Deadly Cloak and Stampede are the most important DOT, followed by Shade, then Consuming Trap, Rending slashes and Barbed Trap
Try to use Merciless Resolve bow proc once you get 5 stacks, replacing 1 spammable cast. For Asian ping players, casting the bow proc after the 6th LA is fine.
Cast Incap Strike when most of the DOTs are up to maximize the DPS burst. Try not to reapply more than 2 DOTs during the 6s of Incap burst duration.
Execute (25%): drop Consuming Trap and rending slashes, change the spammable to Killer's Blade, stop using bow proc. Only cast Shade if you can get most of the DOT damage.Magicka Warden | 102-105k+ DPS PVE Build & Rotation | ESO - BlackwoodGC -Saligia9072021-05-27 | Thanks for watching my Magicka Warden PvE DPS Guide for The Elder Scroll's Online Blackwood Chapter DLC. The rotation of Magicka Sorcerer is fairly simple In the video, I keep reapplying volatile familiar, if you want an easier rotation and better sustain, feel free to drop it. Daedric Prey, Unstable Wall of Elements, and Barbed Trap are the most important DOTs / Buffs to keep up. Make sure you do not reapply Daedric Prey too before it ends or you will waste one cast. Tormentor is once used once before the start of the fight as a prebuff.

Magicka Dragonknight is a melee Magicka class with more Damage Over Time abilities compared to other classes. Although I'm using daggers here, inferno is still a great option and the difference isn't significant. I'll explain it more at the end of the description. Most likely MagDks are going to use sets like Z'en's Redress to support the group. That being said, MagDk is still fine being a pure DD if your group does not care about that.

Rotation: It's a dynamic rotation. Magdk has DOTs with different CDs, making it difficult for a static rotation. The principle is to keep up DOTs / Buffs and reapplying them on time. If every DOT / Buff are up, use your spammable (Molten Whip)
Start-off with Flames of Oblivion, (scalding rune), Barbed Trap Eruption - Unstable Wall - (Degeneration) - Engulfing - Embers - (Mystic Orb) - Whip x 5-6, Standard, then reapply DOTs according to their priority
For the priority of DOTs / Buffs, Unstable Wall of Elements is the most important DOT to keep up, then Flames Of Oblivion, Eruption, Engulfing Flames. Degen and Burning Embers are less important so reapply them after the important ones if they fall at the same time. For an easier rotation, you can always cast Engulfing and Embers together
Managing the priority of DOTs is important on MagDK. Sometimes multiple DOTs fall at the same time, so more practice is needed. If you got stacks of whip and DOTs fall off, reapply the DOTs first, just make sure you use the stacks before they expires.
DW vs Inferno Daggers are slightly better on dummy parses (1~2%) In real fights considering the lack of physical penetration, support sets from healers/tanks like Encratis Behemoth, the difference is very small. Therefore, inferno is generally used in most content, while having the advantage of light attacking at range.
However for magdk, and probably also magplar, due to the whip spammable, we are forced to stay at melee range, so you could choose whatever you want, or whatever you have. For other classes, inferno will still be the general case, and DW has higher potential only when everything is optimized.ESO Gryphon Heart (Cloudrest HM, Speed Run, No Death) Magicka Nightblade DPS - Flames of AmbitionGC -Saligia9072021-05-14 | ...ESO PVE Stamina Dragonknight Masters DW 101K+ (Flames of Ambition)Build and Rotation in DescriptionGC -Saligia9072021-04-05 | Stamina Dragonknight Iron Atronach Parse (Flames of Ambition) BGM: Last Remote - Elice
Stamina Dragonknight is a DOT-focused class with a fairly complicated rotation for beginners as there are 7-8 DOTs to keep up. StamDK could provide a unique buff "stagger" from the skill Stonefist if there isn't a Dragonknight tank using it. Among all stamina classes, StamDK is the one able to use various setups. In this video, I'm using Master's DW front bar without a monster set. Check out liko.gg for different setups such as VH DW, 2H, vMA daggers, or Bow/Bow setups from other content creators since I don't have the time to try them all. Although a lot of parses are using VH daggers to get 100K, Master's is better, if not, equal in terms of single target DPS without restrictions to do damage behind the enemy, which is a great advantage of this setup. While VH daggers setup has higher AOE potential if utilized well.
The new set Kinras's Wrath is a better option for this setup to get 7 medium because pairing Master's DW with AY ends up in 2 heavy pieces. Advancing Yokeda is still a good set though for other setups using it as a front bar set.
Sets: All of the sets are in perfect version, but the non-perfect version is absolutely fine without much difference, especially the Blackrose dual wield, which only gives you a little bit more sustain when you are on your back bar, being useless most of the time.
There are a lot of viable back-bar weapon choices for stam giving similar results. Other than BRP DW used in the video, vMA bow / vDSA bow / vMA 2H are all viable options. For front bar, you may choose to run Kinras 2H or DW with a monster set, both give similar results.
For fights where you cannot maintain Relequen stacks consider the following sets: Briarheart Kinras + Advancing Yokeda New Moon Acolyte (be aware of sustain issues) Hunding's Rage Yandir's Might + Leviathan (one of the Trash Setup options, might not be the best one) Vicious Ophidian (Good for solo and vma) (Perfected) Titanic Cleave / Master's 2H (Good for trash pulls)
Skills (Depends on you weapon choice e.g Deadly cloak for BRP back bar, Endless Hail for bow backbar): Consuming Trap - Rending Slashes - Stonefist - Whirling Blades - Barbed Trap - Flawless Dawnbreaker Noxious Breath - Flames of Oblivion - Deadly Cloak - Venomous Claw - Molten Whip / Resolving Vigor - Standard of Might

Front bar (Master's DW): Nirnhoned + Precise (sharpened if you need penetration)+ Double DOT poisons/crown lethal poisons from daily rewards, preferably 2 daggers, 1 mace if you really need penetration
Back bar (BRP DW): Infused + Infused + Poison Damage + Weapon Damage/ Flame Damage (if you have enough CP for the magicka status CP) / Absorb Stamina (if you need more sustain), doesn't really matter which kind of one-hand it is, I used dagger+dagger in the video but other combination might also work with minimal DPS loss
Back bar (Bow): Infused + Weapon Damage

Race: Dark Elf in the video Alternative choices: Woodelf / Redguard / Orc / Khajiit Dark Elf gives the highest DPS, followed by Khajiit Redguard and Woodelf would be great if you are not in a group with good sustain buffs
Rotation: The rotation is dynamic but based on the two 10s DOT, deadly cloak, and Rending Slashes. For a simplified rotation, you may cast Rending and Cloak together, Noxious and Claw as another pair, but you will lose more uptime on Stone Giant. The best way is to do them all dynamically.
Deadly cloak is the most important DOT to maintain because of the 6% damage buff from BRP DW
Start off with Flames of Oblivion x3 - Barbed Trap Deadly Cloak - Rending Slashes - Venomous Claw - Consuming Trap - Noxious Breath Stonefist x2 - Standard of Might - Stone Giant x2
Then reapply DOTs and Buffs accordingly. The priority of DOTs are: 1. Deadly Cloak, Rending Slashes 2. Venomous Claw, Flames of Oblivion 3. Consuming Trap, Barbed Trap 4. Noxious Breath (Higher priority in solo when there's no major fracture)
If everything is up, spam Stonefist One more tip on keeping up stagger buff from Stone Giant Skill: If more 4 or more DOTs need to be reapplied within a short period, reapply the 3 most important ones, cast one Stone Giant, then reapply the rest. It should be fairly easy to keep up stagger in this way.
At around 20%: Stop using Stonefist and use Whirling blades instead, keep up Stone Giant if your group needs that, but it sacrifices some of your DPSESO PVE Magicka Necromancer 100k+ (Flames of Ambition) Build and Rotation in DescriptionGC -Saligia9072021-03-16 | Magicka Necromancer Iron Atronach Parse (Flames of Ambition) BGM: Colors [Bigroom] - Ando Ken

The new CP system seems to be favoring DOT rotations because there is no "Direct Damage" CP at the moment. Even in situations where we cannot use the flank crit CP (backstabber), Magcro is still good using the AOE CP (Biting Aura), where Magblades and Magsorcs with "more" single target, direct damage proportion do not benefit as much as a Magden or Magnecro. Basically what applies to wardens applies to necro, so you find the description very similar. I'm still learning how to play necro so... can't comment much on the class.
For fights where you cannot maintain Siroria stacks, you might want to consider the following gears
Alternative gear choices: Perfected False God's Devotion Burning Spellweave (Viable choice for quick AOE trash pulls) Medusa (One more flex spot at the expense of golding jewelry pieces) Master's Lightning Staff (good for trash)
Grothdarr (Easiest set to obtain for beginners) Domihaus (Good option in some fights) Slimecraw (Solo / without good healer support) Maw of Infernal (Ranged) Iceheart (Solo / more survivability) Zaan (Melee) 1pc Slimecraw + 1pc Spell crit monster set for more AOE potential (e.g. Slimecraw + Iceheart)

Beginner's Set-up (CP160): Julianos + Mother's Sorrow + Any monster Set, this set up also performs very well without much gear farm
Avid Boneyard - Unstable Wall of Elements - Skeletal Arcanist - Scalding Rune - Channeled Acceleration - Glacial Colossus / Elemental Rage (only if you don need to provide major vulnerability)
Alternative Skills : Dampen Magic: Replace Scalding Rune for more survivability Crushing Shock: In case you want a skill to interrupt Force Pulse: Spammable with more AOE Channeled Acceleration: Replace Barbed Trap if needed

Food: Ghastly Eyebowl for parse Witchmother’s Potent Brew or Artaeum Pickled fishbowl/Melon-Baked Parmesan Pork if you have no sustain issues
Race: Khajiit in the video Alternative choices: Breton / Dark Elf / High Elf
Khajiit gives the highest DPS but High Elf should be very close Breton would be great if you are not in a group with good sustain buffs
Rotation (With Spammable): It's a dynamic rotation. The principle is to keep up DOTs / Buffs and reapplying them on time. If every DOT / Buff are up, use your spammable (Skull / Force Pulse)
Note for using Mystic Orb on dummy: Cast it around every 7.5-8s instead of waiting for its whole 10s duration, because the hitbox cannot take all 10s damage from Orb. However, in real fights with bosses having larger hitboxes, you don't have to do that.
If you just cast Scalding Rune, reapply Unstable Wall or Detonating Siphon, which also has an explode damage. You should have a DOT ready to be cast every second most of the time so there shouldn't be cases that you have all DOTs up for more than 3 seconds and don't know what to cast.ESO PVE Stamina Sorcerer (Non-VH DW) 104-106k (Flames of Ambition) Build and Rotation in DescriptionGC -Saligia9072021-03-11 | Stamina Sorcerer Iron Atronach Parse (Flames of Ambition) BGM: Kowloon Neon - 中路もとめ
Every time arena weapons are great, Stamsorc utilizes them best. Here I'm going to show 2 setups, one with Master's DW, no monster set, another traditional one with a 5-piece set Kinras for front bar 2H and monster helm Zaan. Yes, Zaan on a stamina build because most of the new CP system does not separate Magicka and Stamina nodes, which made things like Zaan and flame enchants good on Stam classes if you have enough CP to unlock them. I'm using the new set Kinras's Wrath, which provides major berserk to ourselves and minor berserk to all allies in the ring. Advancing Yokeda is still a good set. It would be better to use Kinras to get 7 medium if you are using Master's DW because pairing with AY you will end up in 2 heavy pieces. For Kinras 2H version, you can still replace it with AY with 1k difference if you haven't get Kinras greatsword.
Vateshran DW setup can easily outperform these setups with at least 3k higher and much more AOE potential but requires you to stand right behind the enemy (which is harder than flanking as flanking can be achieved other than the 90 degrees cone in front of the enemy). Liko has already released a video on that setup also an alternative monster set choice using 2 crit pieces (e.g. Slimcraw + Grundwlf) which is also a good choice so make sure to check it out too youtube.com/watch?v=OI9cTH49Ftc
(feel free to change the spammable to crystal weapon for boths setups if you don't like channel spam)
For fights where you cannot maintain Relequen stacks consider the following sets: Briarheart New Moon Acolyte (be aware of sustain issues) Hunding's Rage Yandir's Might + Leviathan (one of the Trash Setup options, might not be the best one) Vicious Ophidian (Good for solo and vma) (Perfected) Titanic Cleave / Master's 2H (Good for trash pulls)
Alternative Skills : Feel free to remove 1 pet (both deal similar damage so any one would be fine) for any of the following skills if you need them: Whirling blades for DW setup Resolving Vigor Critical surge

The rotation is dynamic, which means reapplying DOTs according to their priority and use spammables (Wrecking/Rapid) if all of them are up. Start off with (Atronach + Matriarch) Barbed Trap, Hurricane, Deadly Cloak, (Rending Slashes), then spammables until DOTs fall.
Cloak and Rending are the most important DOT, then hurricane and barbed trap.
4 stacks of bound armament have a higher priority over any spammables. You can choose to cast the stacks of bound armaments right after the 4th Light attack or the 5th one, the difference isn't big in terms of DPS.
For 2H rotation At around 30%: Stop using Wrecking Blow and use Executioner instead At around 15%: Stop using Bound Armaments

The setup on the left using Mechanical Acuity inferno staff gave me the best results. The cooldown has been adjusted from 18 seconds to 21, but it's still very competitive and lines up well with Nightblade's Incap burst. It requires a bit more effort timing DOTs, reapplying some of them a bit earlier, or delay some Incap casts to maximize burst. Being perfect for every Acuity proc is impossible so a bit of downtime on DOTs is acceptable. The setup on the right is Mother's Sorrow with Siroria, Dual Wield front bar. Flames of Ambition update comes with the new CP system, where most of the new CP system does not separate Magicka and Stamina nodes, so skills like Dark Shade is receiving a significant damage boost, and even Twisting Path, a Magblade AOE skill, is worth casting on a Stamblade, big thanks to Liko suggesting me replace leeching strikes that I never cast LOL. In the parse, I'm using the new set Kinras's Wrath, which provides major berserk to ourselves and minor berserk to all allies in the ring. Advancing Yokeda is still a good set though. Big thanks to @thetrueudas, @Lucario235, and @Light942
Have been progressing the title "Bane of Thorns" with my guildmates from TAK (The Arrow Knee) while farming motifs. It only took us less than 5 times to get the achievement (mostly because of me being stupid or ganked by internet). Overalp easier than True Genius achievement that we just go with 3DD 1 Tank.
No complicated strategy this time, just DPS burn all the bosses, plus barrier ultimate rotating among the 3DDs for the last boss.
Barrier is particularly nice for this dungeon's last boss because you either take nearly one shot damage from AOEs and/or the oblivion damage outside the circle or you nearly get no damage. In the bat phase at 60% and 20%, barrier can stay up to 30s which is its max. duration if you managed to dodge all the AOEs. If you are less focusing and get hit by the AOEs, barrier act as you second health bar, which feels much safer. With 3DDs slotting barrier, we can always have a barrier on us during those bat phase. Note that oblivion damage outside the circle cant be avoided by shields so make sure you run back into the circle after you use the synergy or got hit out of the circle.
Some suggests using wild hunt mythic item, but personally I dont think it's a must. The expedition from channeled acceleration is already enough and basically you avoid AOEs by dodge rolling but not running faster because there are too many AOEs at the same time during the 2nd bat phase.
For the gear, I didn't optimize much but just use what I have on this character I run Master's Lightning front bar + BSW back bar + MS for trash Siroria MS for 1st 2nd and 4th Boss pFGD MS for 3rd and last bossESO PVE Magicka Dragonknight 95.6k (Flames of Ambition) Build and Rotation in DescriptionGC -Saligia9072021-02-24 | Magicka Dragonknight Iron Atronach Parse (Flames of Ambition PTS week 4) BGM: Moment - Getty
Magicka Dragonknight is a DOT-focused class but the rotation is slightly easier. With all the changes in Flames of Ambition (mainly due to CP system rework, DW light attacks are now comparable to inferno ones), all Magicka classes can use Dual Wield front bar for some extra damage compared to inferno (usually 1-2k higher if using Siroria + Crit set). MagDKs are used to playing at melee range so using Dual Wield does not make any difference in terms of playstyle. However, make sure you don't heavy attack with dual wield because you only get stamina. Although DW seems to be better, inferno is still a good option, providing more burning procs which equals better sustain. Sustain is still bad even with 7 light armor. In the parse I'm using a shcok enchant on one of my DW but poison is better after further testes, updated all the info below with the setup. Most likely MagDks are going to use sets like Zen+Elfbane to support the group.

Start-off with Flames of Oblivion, (scalding rune), Barbed Trap Unstable Wall - Eruption - (Degeneration) - Engulfing - Embers - Mystic Orb - Whip x 5-6, Standard, then reapply DOTs according to their priority
If you got stacks of whip and DOTs fall off, reapply the DOTs first, just make sure you use the stacks before they expires.ESO Stone Garden HM + No death + Speed run -True Genius - Warden Healer perspectiveGC -Saligia9072021-01-23 | True Genius Achievement (Stone Garden HM, No death, Speed run) - Warden Healer Perspective
22nd January, 2021
So... we decided to help one of the guildmates to get the achievement again who practiced with us for True Genius but not a available when we got the achievement yesterday.
Basically the strategy is the same, but me being the healer this time, so it didnt take us that long for progression. It was only the second run and we already get the achievement. It was also my third time healing this dungeon, so... lol, there were a lot of flaws, skill bars might not be the best, ultimate timing not managed well, and my Guard skill wasn't even morphed. The run was casual like "okay, let's go".
Basically all the strategy is the same as the one in my last video.
We decided to do the same and take the 1st and 3rd Buff (increasing damage and survivability respecticely)
For the gear, I didnt optimize much but just use what I have on this character I run olorime + Hollowfang + Symphony of blades throughout the whole runESO Stone Garden HM + No death + Speed run -True Genius - Magicka Nightblade perspectiveGC -Saligia9072021-01-21 | True Genius Acheivement (Stone Garden HM, No death, Speed run) - Magicka Nightblade Perspective

Big thanks to @Spyingforyou, @a09721949290, @Lucario235 and @Light942 practicing with me these few days
Have been progressing the title "True Genius" for a few nights with my guildmates from TAK (The Arrow Knee). Also my first video in dungeons with my new PC lol.
Tried to play safe throughout the run so it's definitely not "fast". The strategy we used are just for us, which might not fit every group especially the last boss.
For the 1st and 2nd boss it's basically burn without any strategy. Remember to bring skills to interrupt the 1st boss. Mw and the healer slotted Crushing Shock for this phase and the Stamblade DD slotted hidden blade from the DW skill line. Venom arrow is also fine if using bow. As for the 2nd boss, the tank taunt it near the middle stone husks so DDs can control the AOEs to hit stone husks and the boss at the same time. We killed all the stone husks before execute and leave them alive during execute. If execute is slow, kill 1 to 2 more stone husks.
For the first behemoth transformation during add fights, we send the healer to trigger the conversation and unlock the door while we are still killing the behemoth, so that we save some time. One DD with the behemoth transform run to the side with the buffs and I run to kill the stone husks, then run back to get the buff.
For the last boss, the safest way to deal with those poison flasks is to run across the room to the opposite side, but that will be much slower. To squeeze more time for the achievement we decided not to run and just stand still, block cast skills when poison appears. You can see me block casting when it appears, but you can do LA skill block LA skill block for more damage if your are confident with where the poison is.
For the fire phase and poison phase, one add spawn every 10% health, we kill those spawned at 90% 80% but we leave the one spawned at 70% and quickly burn to 60% similarly, we kill those from 50% 40% and ignore the one at 30% and just burn to 20%. When the synergy, during the transformation animation, we are immune to all damage, so even the tank does not need to worry about the adds from 70% and 30% killing him for the
At least 1 DD save 500 ultimate to the behemoth phase and we just stack all stone husks and use our ultimate one after another, with around 2~3 seconds between the 1st and 2nd ultimate because we want the other two to get both synergy for ultimate regen, so that they can use their ult right after us to nuke the stone husks.
After the 2nd Behemoth phase, we decided to stop damaging the boss every 5%, run the lightning phase, clear the add and repeat, to avoid the tank from taunting multiple adds + boss during the lightning phase.
During the lightning phase I cast my twisting path behind / in front of me depending on where my teammates are and how close is the lightning.
We decided to take the 1st and 3rd Buff (increasing damage and survivability respecticely)
For the gear, I didnt optimize much but just use what I have on this character I run pFGD MS for trash and last boss Siroria MS for 1st and 2nd Boss

Magicka Dragonknight, similar to StamDk, is a DOT-focused class but the rotation is slightly easier. With all the changes in Markarth, MagDk sustain is still bad and most likely they are going to use sets like Zen+Elfbane to support the group. That being said, MagDk is still fine being a pure DD if your group does not care about that.
Due to the RIP sustain, I have to cast spell symmetry throughout the parse. Sustain might be better in real fights where healers are using sets like Hollowfang/symphony of blades.
Siroria is used only for easy comparison between classes In real fights where you cannot maintain Siroria stacks, you might want to consider the following gears
Alternative gear choices: Perfected False God's Devotion (Best set in most situations for the sustain) Elemental Succession Zen's Redress + Elfbane (Support) Spell Strategist (Single Target, can be purchased from guild traders)
Other viable monster sets include: Grothdarr (Easiest set to obtain for beginners) Slimecraw (Solo / without good healer support) Iceheart (Solo / more survivability) 1pc + 1pc Spell crit monster set for more AOE potential (e.g. Zaan + Iceheart)
Traits and Glyphs: Body pieces: All divines + Magicka Glyph (1 Health on a big piece if you want 16k health)
Front bar: Precise / Infused / Charge(only if you have sustain issues) (The higher the DPS, the stronger is Precise, at around 55~60k or above, Precise performs better than infused, also giving more AOE potential) + Flame Enchant
Back bar: Infused + Weapon Damage / Absorb Magicka Enchant depends on your sustain
Jewelry: Bloodthirsty
Beginner's Set-up (CP160): Julianos + Mother's Sorrow + Any monster Set But this set up also performs very well without much gear farm
Attributes: 64 Magicka
Skills: Engulfing Flames - Burning Embers - Molten Whip - Flames of Oblivion - Inner Light - Shooting Star
Eruption - Unstable wall of elements - Degeneration / Mystic Orb - FLEX - Barbed Trap - Standard of Might
** In the video I am using the heroism potion just for one more ult and little bit more sustain, so I swapped the position of Inner Light and Degen. Spell power potions should be fine and do dot differ much because Mystic Orb deals much more damage than degen. The best one I got with Spell power post is 96K

Stamina Dragonknight is a DOT-focused class with a fairly complicated rotation for beginners as there are 7-8 DOTs to keep up. StamDK could provide a unique buff "stagger" from the skill Stonefist if there isn't a Dragonknight tank using it.
For front bar, you may choose to run 2H or DW, both give similar results.
For monster sets, Selene game me slightly better results on the dummy, but Domihaus and Marselok are also good options in raids

Rotation: The rotation is dynamic but based on the two 10s DOT, deadly cloak, and consuming trap. To make the rotation simple, Deadly Cloak and Rending Slashes are tied together. Deadly cloak is the most important DOT to maintain because of the 6% damage buff from BRP DW
Start off with Flames of Oblivion - Barbed Trap Deadly Cloak - Rending Slashes - Consuming Trap - Venomous Claw - Noxious Breath Stonefist x4 - Standard of Might - Deadly Cloak - Rending Slashes - Consuming Trap
Then reapply DOTs and Buffs accordingly. The most priority of DOTs are: 1. Deadly Cloak, Venomous Claw 2. Flames of Oblivion, Consuming Trap, Barbed Trap 3. Noxious Breath (Higher priority in solo when there's no major fracture)
If everything is up, spam Stonefist One more tip on keeping up stagger buff from Stone Giant Skill: If more than 4 DOTs need to be reapplied, reapply the 3 most important ones, cast one Stone Giant, then reapply the rest. It should be fairly easy to keep up stagger in this way.

Stamina Nightblade is one of the stamina classes I enjoy most. Incapacitating Strike and Relentless focus provide huge burst damage. It also performs well in the execute phase with the class execute Killer's Blade. In a parse, the DPS might not be that impressive. In real fights raids where the execute phase is longer or Morag Tong provided, it might perform better. In Markarth update with the Major/Minor buff changes and the flanking weapon damage passive changed to penetration, we now can invest fewer points into penetration CP.
Rapid Strikes perform a bit better on parse, but in raids especially using Maarselok, use surprise attack

Magicka Warden is one of the best class for solo play because of their all-rounded class toolkit, having nice AOE damage via Deep fissure and Winter's Revenge, as well as strong healing skills when you need them in situations where you need more survivability. Fetcher Infection also provides minor vulnerability to the group which is welcome when there's no warden healer in the group. All Magicka class has received a noticeable nerf in Markarth patch since all ranged light attacks received a damage decrease. The flank spell damage passive was removed and replaced with penetration, which is useless on the updated 21M iron atronach dummy because we are already over-penetrating even with 0 points into spell erosion CP. After all, Magicka Nightblade is still a good class to play among Magicka classes. The rotation and gear does not change much, sustain is slightly better. Although the DPS number seems to be an increase, that's just because of the updated 21M dummy which provides major vulnerability and minor brittle (which seems not appearing yet but I'm not sure). The burning bug from Maw of Infernal is fixed and isn't as good as before. Say goodbye to those annoying daedroths.

Rotation: The rotation is dynamic but based on the two 10s DOT, deadly cloak, and rending slashes. To make the rotation simple, deadly cloak and rending slashes are tied together, even though we have 4 stacks of bound armaments. Deadly cloak is the most important DOT to maintain because of the 6% damage buff from BRP DW
4 stacks of bound armament have a higher priority over Wrecking Blow / any other DOTs
You can choose to cast the stacks of bound armaments right after the 4th Light attack or the 5th one, difference isn't big in terms of DPS.
Sometimes I do 4 skills instead of 3 before bound armaments to avoid immediate bar swap after a channel spam

With the buffs to some nightblade passives, as well as the Relentless Focus changes, nightblade is now doing great among stamina classes, with the best single target and execute damage. However, stam classes are still not being loved in trials compared to mag, because of the lack of AOE damage and too many good support sets for mag. For stamina classes, back bar options are now based on personal preference, BRP DW, vMA Bow, vDSA Bow, and vMA 2H are all good options that gives similar results. I'm only showing the double DW and DW+bow setup below. Currently, I am working on a healer written guide for my own guild so I am not going to post videos that fast after magblade and the next stamblade video. Just FYI I have the following classes ready but need some more time for the description, at least after the healer guide: StamDk, Stamcro, Stamsorc Magsorc(1pet), Magplar (From one of my guildmates cuz I suck on channel spam)
As you can see I am using DW DW in the video. However, I recommend new players who just reached CP160 to start with traditional DW/bow setup until you get at least a non-perfect BRP DW because it is not worth using double DW without BRP DW, but bow back bar is always good.
Sets: All of the sets are in perfect version, but the non-perfect version is absolutely fine without much difference, especially the Blackrose dual wield, which only gives you a little bit more sustain when you are on your back bar, being useless most of the time.
For fights where you cannot maintain Relequen stacks / You need quick cleave damage, consider the following sets: Briarheart Lokkestiiz New Moon Acolyte (be aware of sustain issues) Hunding's Rage Twice Fanged Serpent (only when group penetration is too low e.g. 4-man dungeons ) Vicious Ophidian (Good for solo and vma)

DW+DW Rotation: The rotation is dynamic, revolving around Deadly Cloak, which is a 10s DOT. If you want to simplify the rotation a bit, always cast Consuming Trap and Deadly Cloak together.
Start off with Barbed Trap - Shade - Deadly Cloak - Consuming Trap - Rending Slashes - - Surprise attack - Incap - Bow proc SA x5 - Bow proc Then reapply DOTs according to their priority, spam Surprise Attack when everything is up. Deadly Cloak is the most important DOT, then consuming trap and barbed trap, followed by shade and rending slashes.
Try to use Merciless Resolve bow proc once you get 5 stacks, replacing 1 spammable cast. For Asian ping players like me, casting the bow proc after the 6th LA is fine.
Cast Incapacitating Strike when most of the DOTs are up to maximize the DPS burst. Try not to reapply more than 2 DOTs during the 6s of Incap burst duration.
In execute phase (25%) drop consuming trap and change the spammable to Killer's Blade, and stop using bow proc
For DW + Bow, the rotation is basically the same except replacing Deadly Cloak and COnsuming Trap with Endless Hail and Posion Injection, then reapply DOTS dynamically and spam Suprise Attack. Execute is also the sameESO PVE Magicka Nightblade 95.6K (Stonethorn) Build and Rotation in DescriptionGC -Saligia9072020-08-24 | Magicka Nightblade Iron Atronach Parse No Vampire, No Thrassian BGM: EMIYA (Prisma☆Illya)
The vampire spammable is gone after one patch and there's no reason to be a vampire for PVE. Static Rotation is just for beginners to get the 'general feeling' of a rotation for a class, you should be practicing a dynamic rotation if you dont want to screw up in real fights

The vampire spammable seems to be OP if we can stay melee. The health cost could be easily out-healed by a healer or even by ourselves through skills like siphoning attack, swallow soul, healing from bow procs. Slotting Swallow Soul instead of Criplling Grasp gives more self-heal if we just treat it as a HOT and cast it every 10 seconds, also providing an alternative spammable when we feel dangerous in a real fight (e.g. when we get healing debuff). Since we don't have sustain issues, we can use Mystic Orb when we parse.

Stamina Warden is fun class and quite good for solo play, but not having much group utility. Although the bear ultimate is now affected by the Bloodthirsty trait, Stamden still needs more love
With the Blackrose and Dragonstar Dual Wield buff in Greymoor patch, double dual wield is viable among most stamina classes. However, it's still the best set-up if we can stay in melee range. We get more DPS compared to the traditional DW+ bow setup, but we lose a little bit of AOE damage (~2k) and we must be in melee most of the time because deadly cloak needs to deal damage to proc BRP DW effect.
I am not running Whirling Blades in the parse as the DPS increase is not significant. I think I will only use it when I want an AOE execute, for example in trash fights
However, I still recommend new players who just reached CP160 to start with the traditional DW/bow setup until you get at least a master DW because it is not worth spamming rending slashes without masters DW.
Sets: All of the sets are in perfect version, but the non-perfect version is absolutely fine without much difference, especially the Blackrose dual wield, which only gives you a little bit more sustain when you are on your back bar, being useless most of the time.

I used Gripping Shards just for the chilled status effect. It can be Winter's Revenge but I hate ground AOE abilities. Gripping Shards immobilize enemies which might not be a good thing for tanks. Of there's someone running skills like blockade of ice or winter's revenge, treat it as a flex spot

Stamina Necromancer is one of the best stamina classes, providing Major Vulnerability debuff that boosts group DPS by a lot. However, the skill's animation is a bit stupid and I am still not used to that so you could see me missing skills or Light Attacks in the parse. Compare to the last patch, Detonating Siphon is back on the GCD, which might be good news for low APM players like me.
