I’m always looking for ways to improve the lighting around my house—especially using accent lighting to change the mood and feel of a space. So when Govee released two new smart floor lamps, I wanted to see how much of a difference they could actually make in real-world setups.
In this video, I install the Govee Floor Lamp 3 and the Govee Lantern Floor Lamp in two completely different rooms—a garage studio and a home office—to see how each one performs and which situations they’re best suited for. From wall-wash ambient lighting to soft halo-style accent lighting, these lamps each bring something unique to the table.
