Creator in Residence Tien Nguyen has created a display of menus at the Pio Pico-Koreatown branch that traces the neighborhood’s history through its menus.
On Saturday, February 21 from 1-2 pm Tien will be in conversation with Monica Lee, the founder and chef of Beverly Soon Tofu. Monica has also donated a highly unique menu to the library, in the form of a painted gourd, which is currently on display at the branch.
