THE SONG
CRIME PAYS! Oh, that's so 2025 of you to say! I could just as easily killed off THE JOKER like the 1st BATMAN with Micheal Keaton. However, I can't KILL THE JOKER. It wouldn't be kind. So I changed the ending.
Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year, October 31st. Yeah, even though I hate it to get dark early, there's a certain vibe about October!
My instruments were
#guitar 🎸 #synths #drums, and #piano
I created the song with Halloween in mind. The dark organ, the creepy atmosphere, choice of chords, ya know?
THE VIDEO
The only departures from the original storyboard I wrote over coffee one morning,
1) JOKER and the clowns try to escape in my toy helicopter and Batman lassos it down like NEO in the matrix;
2) In my earlier version, JOKER rolls off the side of the building in the end. I changed that to JOKER KICKS BATMAN OFF THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING AND BATMAN FLIES AWAY!
I added the NEW ENDING for a couple of reasons. 1st, I don't want to kill THE JOKER! and 2) a number of people have already scene an earlier, choppier version so that I felt I had to change the ending.
Also, from an earlier PREVIEW, someone said, I almost wanted to see JOKER win! 😃
Fight scenes: The fight scene in THE EXECUTIONER was made to be a little bit amusing rather than violent. For GOTHAM, it's BATMAN vs. JOKER and these fight scenes should look somewhat like they are fighting, so I tried to make the fights scenes more realistic.
I think I've always wanted to be an entertainer. I was a kid Magician and a Clown! Taught by a Professional Magician who performed for the White House.
