This video, like almost everything else I do, was really unexpected.
I still haven’t come out of my GoT/Asoiaf induced trance, and that added to my recent rediscovery of this song kinda reached an Epic Conclusion™ haha.
These are my favourite pairings from the series (more or less, Dany/Tyrion and Bran/Meera are beloved but exclusively a show thing to me for now) and it was fun to explore a bit of the romantic side of such a cruel and violent universe. I tried to portray each relationship individually as well as highlight the similarities between them (both visual and contextual similarities, cause they reeally aren't lacking). In the end, I felt kinda validated by the amount of patterns I could trace with these pairings. I have many complaints about D&D but their fixation with parallels and symbolism is one of the reasons I can appreciate this show so much.
