The Emerald Crab (Mithraculus sculptus) is an excellent algae eater. In our experience they even eat bubble algae. Since the animals stay quite small they are are also suitable for nano aquariums. If there are no algae left in the tank the crabs should be fed additionally since hungry crabs could chase other animals.
