Hello everyone!!
Today I have a pre-made kit that Calen picked for me from my kit storage bin (the ottoman that I have in my office that has storage in it) - I asked him to pick a kit and he basically just picked the top kit and then ran out of my room. So I guess it's just as simple as that... pick one and run! I opened the kit and saw that it was an old Gossamer Blue Life Pages kit from August 2017. Since it's a smaller kit just due to the fact that I didn't have any of the add-ons for the kit and that it's a project life styled kit instead of a 12x12 styled kit, I decided to pull just a few things from my stash to bulk it up a bit!
I like to keep things easy... let's just be honest. I had already disassembled the last stash kit I was working with but I had left all the scrap pieces in my Antonius tray from Ikea because I was still trying to decide if I wanted to keep the small pieces or get rid of them. So I just kept them in there for this kit as well... if I don't use them by the end of this kit then I will throw those pieces away.
I also have a few almost used up items that I had kept out to try to continue to use so they don't get lost in my stash when I put them away so we are going to see if they are useful for these next few layouts as well.
Unfortunately, Gossamer Blue kits are no longer available, but I did do a kit review on them before when they were in business.
