As Shark Week 2012 comes to a close, we are proud to release this short video footage of an 8m Whale Shark we had the privilege of filming a few weeks before Shark Week began. Hopefully this footage will reinforce the ever-increasing global understanding that Sharks are not mindless killing machines-infact, we are not even on the menu- they are majestic and beautiful creatures, older than the Dinosaurs and are deserving of our protection. An animal as perfect as the Shark, which has not had to evolve at all for millions of years, should be viewed with wonder and amazement, not fear resulting in it's killing.
