Overall the single lens footage from Max 2 is quite good, but the Hero 13 Black will produce better results. For some users the GoPro Max 2 will be a good choice as you get the best of both worlds, you get the creativity and unique perspectives of 360 reframed footage, but also the convince of single lens mode like a standard action camera.
